SUBURBAN LEGENDZ: It’s Watching

Ezra turned around.

He could feel it.

Something out there in the trees was watching him. He loved sneaking down to the river to mess about. A quick dip was the best to an overly warm spring. As he was taking off his pants, his heart beat fast, as the hair on the back of his neck shot up. His body sprouted at an impossible rate. He went from sapling into a fully matured tree, befitting the company of the plants around him. His body amassed change like it was owed a debt, muscles befitting all the longer limbs. His face was as chiseled as sculpture, mimicking the beauty of those men frozen in time. All angles now cut to display the masculine qualities. There was a new breadth to the width of his back, delts rounded, elongated spine running into the curvature of his ass. His butt had blown his briefs to smithereens, a punishment for adapting too slowly to the change.

The only thing the young man could grab at was his pants, bigger and yet somehow still too small for proper wear. He knew exactly where to look under the pressure of its gaze, as if it was guiding his eyes.

Ezra saw it move out in the woods. A dark shadow looming by the trees. blink and it was somewhere else farther back. Too fast to be a human.

Ezra took off the way he came, calling for his dad, pants slipping down his waist.

And the thing in the woods went somewhere else.

  1. I'm hoping we can see more muscle growth from this shadowy figure.
